Prophecy
Scripture

All Scripture is breathed out by God
and profitable for teaching, for reproof,
for correction, and for training in righteousness.
- 2 Timothy 3:16

For prophecy never came by the will of man,
but holy men of God
spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

- 2 Peter 1:21

The Palestinian Covenant

Deuteronomy 30:1-10 says

  • Israel will be dispersed among the nations.
  • Israel will repent and turn to the Lord
  • Israel will be gathered from its dispersion

IN THIS COVENANT, GOD PROMISES:

  • to bring them to the land that their fathers possessed
  • to prosper them above their fathers
  • to restore them spiritually so that the children of Israel will love the Lord with all their heart and soul
  • to put all manner of curses on their enemies

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel,
"Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give to them, and you shall cause them to inherit it. And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you, do not fear or be dismayed."

  • to provide a permanent, undisturbed home for Israel
  • to establish an eternal kingdom with David and his offspring

The Davidic Covenant

My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.
